Bert Carp
Bert Carp is an experienced legislative and regulatory strategist. Before entering private practice, he served in senior positions on the U.S. Senate staff, in the Carter White House, and as chief operating officer of a major trade association. For ten years he supervised government affairs (worldwide) for Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., and served on the company’s executive committee. His practice is general in nature and includes energy, environment, health care, tax, and telecommunications.
Bert holds undergraduate and law degrees from Stanford University, and is admitted to the bar in the District of Columbia, California, and Massachusetts. He lives in Annapolis, Maryland, and races small sailboats.
