ALIGNMENT CELEBRATES TEN YEARS
Announces Mike Smullen will join firm as Partner
Alignment Government Strategies (AGS), a bipartisan government relations and strategy firm, celebrated its tenth year of operation this month.
Its founders, all who are still part of AGS, include Becky Anderson, Michael Beer, Bert Carp, Jenny DiJames, Leo Jardot, and Patrick Pettey. Over time, the firm has grown to also include David Rudd and Tracy Taylor.
“We’ve remained true to the original formula – nimble, hands-on, bipartisan. It has had real results for our clients. We’ve had the good fortune to have loyal and happy clients. We have the added bonus that we have remained friends as well as colleagues,” said AGS Partner Bert Carp.
“We are focused on our ability to understand and talk to both sides of the aisle in Washington and our growth has been deliberate and in line with that focus. Every one of our partners is substantive and political and understands the path towards lasting policy change is through thoughtful engagement with both parties,” said AGS Partner Michael Beer.
AGS is also pleased to announce that Mike Smullen has joined the firm as of April 22, 2024.
Mike Smullen is a veteran of Capitol Hill, with twenty-five years of service to three separate Ohio Members of Congress. He served as Chief of Staff to retired Member of Congress Bill Johnson (R-OH) during Rep. Johnson’s entire tenure in the US House of Representatives.
